Who I am
I’m Markus Eberhard, an illustrator and comic artist based in Switzerland and this is my website www.markilus.com. I use this as a portfolio and blog.
Cookies
The only cookies I use are functional cookies to make the site work. These cookies are from reCAPTCHA on my contact form and are used for spam protection:

Analytics
I use a cookie-free analytics tool plugin called “Koko Analytics”. It only shows me what pages you looked at on my site and where you clicked on the link to my website (e.g. Google or Instagram). It doesn’t track you, so if you visit my site again, I won’t know you’re the same person.
Collection and Storage of Personal Data
I use the “Forminator” plugin to store your contact page data when you click “Submit.” By default, Forminator records the IP address for each entry. Other personal data, such as your name, email address, and message, is also recorded.
I regularly delete this data after I have replied to the message. If you would like your data to be deleted immediately, please contact me.
When you subscribe to my newsletter
I am using Substack as my newsletter service. Substack stores your email when you subscribe. Substack keeps track of whether you clicked on the links in the email I sent you and whether you opened it. You can unsubscribe at any time or send me an email if you want to get off the list.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages and articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who I share your data with
Of course, I don’t share your data with anyone. I don’t need any of it. I just sit in my little room all day and draw silly things.
