Description: For Emotion Studio’s book “Emotions by Design”, I was commissioned to design different illustrations for the book. Shown is a small selection of all the illustrations created.

Brief: The brief was to create illustrations that would enhance the book’s visual appeal and complement the text. Each image was designed to support the narrative without overpowering it, with a strong focus on composition and emotional impact. Rather than serving as decorative details, the illustrations aim to convey emotions and subtle storytelling, including humor.
The illustrations vary in complexity. Some depict simple scenes, while others resemble a Wimmelbild.
Technique: Digitally drawn and colored in Adobe Photoshop.

Estimated time for completion: Around 70 illustrations of varying complexity over the course of about 8 months.
